An ornate brass cabinet opens onto a living library, a parish mystery, a strange house, a candlelit dinner, impossible rooms, a moonlit archive, and an airship launch.
Marlow Finch and a kindly librarian stand beside the badged Book at a wheeled returns desk in the immense Library of Last Resort.

One Adventure

One small errand. It will not stay small.

The Library of Last Resort: The Book That Outranked You

Marlow Finch came to return one overdue Book. The Book has been promoted. Its staff badge outranks him, the Returns Desk insists it is not here, and the closing bell is gathering overhead.

Read the rules, find the opening, and return the Book with its dignity intact.

The game beneath the story

The AI narrates. The world decides.

The narrator meets the action you chose with a responsive moment shaped for that world. Beneath that freedom, the game holds the map, inventory, discoveries, puzzles, and chapter progress.

A surprising valid approach can work. Every discovery, object, relationship, and consequence becomes part of the path you earn through the world.

The world library

Dozens of Adventures. Every one a different game.

Cross genres, centuries, points of view, and puzzle systems. These are eight doors into the Adventures library.

Two investigators study a chalk case map beside a parish water pump while residents and board members gather at dusk.

A silver compass points through a moonless archive toward an impossible doorway high in the architecture.

The False Sky

Moonfall Archive

Follow a silver compass toward a North Gate every official map insists does not exist.

Investigators wade through a flooded harbor cathedral toward a vast half-submerged brass tide clock.

The Reckoning Tide

Tidewright's Debt

Enter a harbor city before the sea returns and learn what its backward brass clock has been counting.

A hill town coordinates ropes, signals, mechanisms, and a ceremonial ribbon as a brass-and-canvas airship lifts.

Before the Noon Bell

The Great Bellweather Launch

Build the running order that turns a town's people, mechanisms, and lucky improvisations into one airborne moment.

A player combines ordinary objects inside a sequence of impossible transit rooms as a sealed door begins to open.

Opening the Wrong Door Correctly

The Manual for Somewhere Else

Learn what the rooms, doors, and objects can do, then teach the world a verb it did not know.

The platform beneath every Adventure

Every world is its own game.

Mysteries, historical investigations, social puzzles, impossible rooms, comic errands, and clockwork launches each bring their own rules, cast, objects, discoveries, consequences, and ending.

A world with rules

Maps, inventories, relationships, clocks, evidence, and objects create the game beneath the narration.

Puzzles with many approaches

Notice what matters, combine what you find, test ideas in your own words, and earn the next opening.

An ending worth reaching

Every Adventure builds toward a conclusion shaped by what you discovered, changed, and chose.
